Losing Weight Without Feeling Deprived
An 8-Session Group with Judy O’Neill, MSW
This workshop is about losing weight. It is also about feeling better and being able to stop spending so much energy and attention on dieting, weight, and worrying about appearance.
With humor and compassion, we will use writing and discussion to identify and begin to finally find the power to work with and the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that have fueled past overeating.
You will identify other places of “hunger” in your life and how to get unstuck with pursuing and asking for what you truly want.
We will cover how to actually become more comfortable saying “no” to people, situations, and behaviors that don’t work for you.
You will learn a style of eating that will allow you to lose weight, manage blood sugar, and not feel ripped off. You can start to eat like a trim, healthy person who doesn’t have issues with food.
