Dropping Extra Weight Without Feeling Deprived – An 8-session Workshop with Judy O’Neill, MSW
This workshop is about losing weight, and it’s also about feeling better and being able to stop spending so much attention on dieting, weight, and worrying about appearance. With humor and compassion, we will use writing and discussion to identify and begin to finally find the power to work with the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that have fueled our past overeating.
You will learn a style of eating that will allow you to lose weight, manage blood sugar, and not feel ripped off.
You can start to eat like a trim, healthy person who doesn’t have issues with food.
You will identify other places of “hunger” in your life and how to get unstuck with pursuing what you long for.
We will cover how to actually become more comfortable saying “no” to people, situations, and behaviors that don’t work for you.
Where: 2595 Vassar Drive in southwest Boulder, CO
When: Mondays or Wednesdays
